St. Louis, & Nashville

Andrew white washing the fence outside of the house Mark Twain grew up in

Mississippi River

Mark Twain statue in Hannibal Missouri

The boys looking out the tiny window overlooking St. Louis

At the top of The Arch...crazy scary!!

The Gang

Wading in the muddy Mississippi River -- St. Louis

Fort Negley

Looking out over Nashville...viewing the still flooded city.

Grandpa getting a much deserved nap...and a much interrupted one too. You know you're an experienced grandpa when you can sleep through three of your grandsons climbing on you during the entire duration of your nap.

Vanderbilt Law School Graduation. Can you say 100% humidity?

Our families first Doctor! So proud of you Justin...congrats and love you lots!!!

Such proud parents...and also extremely happy that this is their first graduate that they didn't pay a penny for (can you see the smile on my dad's face...that is the explanation).

The proud and deserving wife! Congrats to you both!

Daddy took us downtown to go to some of the bars and get a glimpse at where all the big stars start out. Unfortunately, being the avid bar hoppers that we are, Erika and me both forgot our IDs and since we look like we are 16 no one would let us into their bars. Dangit!

Uncle Matthew letting Hyrum listen to his audio tour at the Country Music Hall of Fame...Hyrum thought it was a phone and would just sit and talk into it.

Andrew is a huge Elvis fan and loved being in Studio B where he recorded so many of his top songs!

This is the actual piano that has been in Studio B since it was started (and is still used today). It was Elvis's favorite piano and he tried to purchase it several times from the studio with no luck. Tim and Matthew were asked by the tour guide to play a piece for the group...so AWESOME!!!

Outside Studio B

A yummy ice cream shop we ate at for Justin's Birthday! We were so glad to be able to celebrate with him!

Belmeade Park was absolutely gorgeous. It was so green and the stairs were amazing (like something out of Ancient Rome).

Belmeade Plantation -- Nashville

Getting used to the plantation lifestyle. A big porch and rocking chairs...too bad it is so darn hot in Nashville, I get horrid allergies and the bugs are gigantic! Otherwise it is gorgeous, amazing, and so much fun!!!

At the SLC Airport. Wonderful Aunt Laurie picking us up. Good-byes are the worst.
